Dr. Mary Venus Joseph, Dean (Research) holds a Doctorate in Social Work from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. She had her school and college level education from Chennai and joined Rajagiri college of Social Sciences during 1981.She served as the Vice Principal of the College from 2015-2011.Upon her official retirement in 2011 she was appointed as the Dean and Administrator with an independent charge of Kalamassery campus. She has 32 years of teaching experience at Post Graduate level and has presented papers in National and International seminars. She was a visiting International Scholar at the Western Michigan University, USA. She has published a book titled “Mental Health in Classroom” and various articles in professional journals. She is an approved Ph. D Guide in Social Work under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. She is a US Fulbright scholar. She has been awarded the Fr. T.A. Mathias Memorial Award established by All India Association for Christian Higher Education (AIACHE) during 2007. She was the Chair of the South Asia Working Group of the International Council of Social Welfare.
