ENCON CLUB 2020-21 ENVIRONMENT DAY OBSERVATION

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, colleges were not able to reopen on June for the usual classes to begin. The ENCON club conducted their first event of the year 2020-21 through an online platform and it was named “Each One, Teach One, how to Plant One”. On June 5th 2020, two posters for the event were released through the new Instagram page of the club and the posters were promoted among the students. The students were requested plant at least one sapling at their homes and send pictures of the same. This was a way of creating awareness of protecting our environment even just by sitting at our homes. There was great support from the students and they were ready to take the initiative to plant saplings as requested by the club members
The pictures sent by the students were also posted on the Instagram page of the club with it captioned as “let us give our coming generations a healthier and happier environment to have a beautiful life...Best wishes on world environment day.”
